Alexander Volkanovski has finally met his match.
For a long time, the UFC featherweight champion walked around as an unbeaten and dominant force in the UFC. However, all that changed quite quickly during this UFC 280 fight week.
Volkanovski was recently handed his first loss since joining the UFC, as internet sensation Hasbulla took the fight to him and gave him easily the worst beating of his career. Hasbulla held back no punches, and not only did he “destroy” Volkanovski, but he also took his title.

Volkanovski was present Abu Dhabi, as he made the crucial mistake of taking a backup role in case Charles Oliveira or Islam Makhachev didn’t make weight for the vacant lightweight title fight at Saturday’s UFC 280. This decision led to him crossing paths with Hasbulla.
