Rory McIlroy's heartwarming video call with his daughter Poppy was caught on camera after his Canadian Open win.
His 20-month-old daughter told the Hollywood man that he was “number one” minutes after he won his 21st PGA Tour event in Toronto.
McIlroy's wife Erica Stoll could be heard telling little Poppy to tell the 33-year-old how good he did at the tournament.
Poppy can then be heard saying: “Yay dada, dada you won! I love you, great job, you are a winner, you are number one.”
McIlroy took aim at the CEO of the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Invitational Series Greg Norman after the victory gave him one more PGA Tour win than the Australian.
Speaking after his victory at St George’s Golf and Country Club, he told CBS: “This is a day I’ll remember for a long, long time.
“Twenty first PGA Tour win, one more than someone else, that gave me a little extra incentive today and happy to get it done.”
