Police say a Victorian man has been arrested over a fatal shooting in Adelaide late last year .

Glenn Holton, 41, was found lying on Dunorlan Road in Edwardstown with a gunshot wound on the night of December 11 and was pronounced dead in hospital.

Police charged a 44-year old man from Ascot Park with murder the next day.

Detectives today arrested a 43-year-old man from Victoria, also charging him with murder after examining CCTV recordings and witness accounts.

He has been refused bail and is due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Police investigating the alleged murder released CCTV the day after Mr Holton's death showing three vehicles driving east on Dunorlan Road towards South Road around the time of the incident.

Family and friends described Mr Holton — a father — as sensitive and caring.
