Victoria Beckham has reportedly changed her opinion of daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz and says she 'is not the charming girl we knew'.
Rumours of a feud between the Spice Girls star and Nicola have been brewing in recent months, following the billionaire heiress' lavish wedding to Brooklyn Beckham earlier this year. The Bates Motel actress, 27, tied the knot with the budding chef, 23, at her family's Miami estate in April.
The two women are apparently on 'bad terms' with one another as fashion designer Victoria has 'bad blood' with her sons new wife. This comes after inside sources claimed the 48-year-old tried to steal her daughter-in-law's 'thunder' on her big day, reports the Mirror.
Speculation of a rift between the two increased by Nicola not wearing a wedding dress designed by Victoria as well as interactions between the two coming to an end on social media. Despite Victoria reportedly offering an olive branch to her son Brooklyn and his wife by asking them to Paris Fashion Week, inside sources have claimed that Victoria no longer feels as though Nicola is the girl she 'once knew'.
"Vic says Nicola is not the charming girl she once knew," a source told HEAT Magazine. "Nicola wasn't really famous before she met Brooklyn. Sure, she was rich, but she was an actress with a few small movies to her name. Since she married Brooklyn, her profile has sky-rocketed."
It comes amid rumours that Victoria and her husband David Beckham are reportedly worried the billionaire's daughter could hurt their eldest son. Brooklyn, 23, and Nicola got married at her family's mega mansion in Florida back in April.
However the Beckhams apparently 'feel that the relationship is unbalanced', adding that Brooklyn 'makes a lot of sacrifices for her but it’s not clear what happens in return,' a source recently told Mail Online. There's also the matter of the celebrity chef getting close to his father-in-law.
Nicola told Tatler this summer: "Brooklyn is getting into very exciting things with his shows and also business things and it’s really sweet. I watch him call my dad and say: 'What do you think about this?' I love watching him learn from my dad."
Earlier this month, it was reported that Victoria was completely 'heartbroken' over the falling out with Nicola. Amid the ongoing speculation, the mum-of-four's relationship with Brooklyn is said to be under 'significant strain'.
