An Irish footballer has made a bizarre revelation after he released he was the only person followed by a Spice Girl on TikTok.
Former Liverpool FC star Ryan McLaughlin took to social media to share the news that he is followed by pop royalty and fashion icon Victoria Beckham on the video-sharing app.
Not only is the Belfast man finding out that Posh Spice is an unexpected fan - she is the only person he follows on her account.

Taking to Twitter, 28-year-old Morecambe FC star Ryan joked that Victoria must have got him confused with her husband, football hero David Beckham.
He said: "Why am I the only one Victoria Beckham is following on Tik tok.
"For anyone saying I don’t look like David Beckham, Victoria clearly got us mixed up so read it and weep".
Ryan shared screenshots of Victoria's TikTok account to prove that she in fact was following him and only him.
He also shared a photo of him with David Beckham captioned "the lines are starting to blur".
Fans of the national footballer took to the replies to share their disbelief that the interaction was actually true.
One account said: "This had made my night," while another joked "Would the real David Beckham please stand up".
