Vicky McClure's emotional reaction to Notts County's play-off win

Line of Duty star Vicky McClure has shared an emotional video of her celebrating Notts County's play-off win this afternoon (May 13). The video, posted on Twitter, showed the actress screaming with joy after the team won.

Today's game saw Notts County face Chesterfield to decide which team would be promoted to League Two. The game was a nail-biter of a match, with both teams scoring a goal each in 90 minutes.

As the game moved into extra time, it looked like Notts County were going to remain in the National League after Chesterfield scored early. But County equalised taking the game to penalties, which they ultimately won 3-4.

The result meant Notts County will return to League Two after four years away. As a huge Notts County fan, McClure was seen screaming in celebration after the win.

As the final penalty was scored she clapped her hands in glee, shouting: "Yessssss! Come on you Pies!"

Fans were quick to comment on her video on Twitter to join in with her celebration. Joe Sims (JoeSims10) said: "Well deserved! It would have been a scandal if they didn’t after that season. Congratulations @Official_NCFC."

Alison (@orangenlemon) added: "I'm a Derby County fan but I'm so happy for you Vicky that Notts County have done it! So well deserved and the best football team in Nottingham!"

While Claire Gribbin (@clairegribbin) added: "Really pleased for you guys! So deserved. Best two teams in that league went up!!!"
