A vicar at a Liverpool church has been suspended while a disciplinary investigation takes place.
The Diocese of Liverpool has confirmed that Rev Dr Howard Leatherbarrow, who has been vicar at All Saints Church in Stoneycroft since 2018, has been suspended from parish duties while disciplinary matters are investigated. The nature of the matters have not been revealed.
A spokesperson for the Diocese of Liverpool told the ECHO: "Howard Leatherbarrow has been suspended from parish duties while disciplinary matters are being investigated. As such we cannot comment further."

Rev Dr Howard Leatherbarrow previously served as Assistant Curate at St Ann's Parish Church in Rainhill.
All Saints Church Stoneycroft and Rev Dr Leatherbarrow have been contacted for comment.
