Robin van Persie labelled Alejandro Garnacho a 'very talented' player as he moved to praise Manchester United's breakout star of the season.
After inspiring United to long-awaited FA Youth Cup glory last season, Garnacho was been promoted to the first team by Erik ten Hag and the Argentine is living up to his potential. Though still just 18, he has been a constant game-changer off the bench and already has four goals to his name, three of them being winning strikes.
Sadly, Garnacho is now set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering an ankle ligament injury against Southampton last week but the livewire should return in time to feature again this season. Van Persie has been left very impressed by him.

"Garnacho is one to watch, you know he is still very young, a very talented player," the retired striker told BT Sport. "If you look how he handles difficult situations, how he handles pressure, how he creates, for his age, especially it is very special."
Van Persie's former teammate Tyrell Malacia also came in for praise. The left-back arrived at United from Feyenoord in the summer and Van Persie has been impressed with how he's applied himself on the pitch.
"Tyrell Malacia, I used to play with him at Feyenoord and I'm really proud of him," he added. "The way he does it the way he plays, it's a great example for young talents. "
