After two successful hackathons in 2021 and 2022, Verso International School is hosting Verso Hack 2023 for all students aged 13 to 18 years at its campus on Jan 28 and Feb 4-5 next year.
Verso Hack is a guided hackathon where participants work with their peers to gain fundamental tech skills and entrepreneurial thinking skills, and meet other aspiring student entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts while using their creative problem-solving skills on real-world challenges.
Verso has once again partnered with Reactor School, Singapore's leading start-up school for student entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia, to ensure that the next race is built on the best hackathon model in the region.
During the hackathon, students are given a challenge or business problem to work on to develop either a new solution or technology within two days.
The event includes experiential workshops and activities where students learn about designing solutions, validating ideas, prototyping and pitching -- the same skills the best entrepreneurs in the world have -- and are mentored and coached by experts from the start-up and tech community.
Tickets start at 3,900 baht per participant, including meals and materials. Promotional tickets are available until Jan 7. The final pitching round on Feb 5 is free for the public to watch but registrations are required.
