Vernon Kay hosted Wednesday's This Morning, as viewers of the ITV show made a demand to producers.
The programme was thrown into chaos late on Monday night when Phillip Schofield, after presenting the show that day, revealed he'd tested positive for coronavirus.
Alison Hammond was hastily called in to stand in for Phillip, hosting alongside Rochelle Humes and, on Wednesday, there was another change of personnel, as former Family Fortunes star Vernon arrived in the studio.
Vernon, whose intended This Morning debut was ruined by Covid last summer, last presented alongside Rochelle in December, when Phillip and co-host Holly Willoughby took an extended break over the festive period.

Rochelle looked delighted to have him back and many viewers watching at home shared in her excitement.
Some were so enamoured with Vernon being back that they called on bosses to instate him as a permanent presenter.
One tweeted: "Hurrah VERNON on this morning with Rochelle ! Now you're talking ! Perfect coupling."
Equally impressed with Vernon and Rochelle, another commented: "At last the best combination - presenters. Vernon and Rochelle !! Make them permanent
In agreement about Vernon, but wanting Josie Gibson alongside him rather than Rochelle, a third, reacted: "When is this morning team gonna realise vernon and josie are brilliant at presenting together."
While Phillip was missing from the This Morning studio on Tuesday, he did appear on the show from isolation.
He told his co-stars he "didn't even have a sore throat anymore," before adding that, apart from having a slight temperature, he felt totally fine.
Phillip did however did express concerns that it was touch and go as to whether he'd be able to host Sunday's Dancing on Ice, with him requiring to test negative on days 5 and 6 to be released from isolation in time to host Sunday's live show.
