Vera actor Riley Jones says he is ‘super proud and eternally grateful’ for show after 50th episode

Riley Jones Ann Cleeves Brenda Blethyn Mark Edwards Times Square New York

Actor Riley Jones was full of praise for ITV’s Vera after a poster was displayed on a huge billboard in New York’s Times Square.

After a brief outing on the top of a yellow cab was brought to the attention of author Ann Cleeves, it looks like Vera is getting comfortable in the Big Apple.

Star Riley Jones, who plays DC Mark Edwards, spotted the poster while enjoying his holiday in the city. As the show celebrated its 50th episode last night (February 19), it seemed like a fitting time to pay tribute.
