NEW DELHI: Skipper Arpit Vasavada kept his calm under testing circumstances to help Saurashtra seal a place in the Ranji Trophy final for the fifth time in the history of the tournament, defeating Karnataka by four wickets at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.
Vasavada, who scored a match-altering double century in the first innings, stood tall amidst ruins as he played another patient knock of unbeaten 47 at the time when Karnataka bowlers had reduced Saurashtra to 42/5 in the second innings.
