VAR makes India debut in AFC Women's Asian Cup quarter-final matches

MUMBAI: The quarter-final matches of the ongoing AFC Women's Asian Cup saw the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology being used for the first time in the country.

It was before the start of the tournament that the announcement was made that the AFC Asian Cup will see the use of the VAR from the knockout games.
