American actress Vanessa Hudgens is engaged to her boyfriend Cole Tucker, it has been reported.
The High School Musical star and Colorado Rockies star Cole after over two years of dating.
According to TMZ, the baseball star got down on one knee before the end of 2022. The couple have been dating since late 2020.
Vanessa, 34, and Cole, 26, first sparked dating rumours when they were seen holding hands in November 2020.
It came less than a year after she split from her long-term boyfriend Austin Butler.
Vanessa and Cole went Instagram official on Valentine's Day in 2021.
Cole later opened up about his love for her during an MLB spring training interview.
"I got a girlfriend and she’s cool. She’s awesome, I love her," he said at the beginning of 2021.
"But I don’t want it to be, ‘Oh, Cole’s dating Vanessa … ’ I don’t want it to be treated any differently than Mitch [Keller] having his wife down, or Ke’Bryan [Hayes] having his girlfriend come down.
"She’s great. She’ll be around. You will see her, but you saw the headline, it is what it is."
According to Vanessa, she and Cole met during a 'Zoom meditation group', which she called 'very random.'
She also said: "He’s just kind of perfect for me. I am [happy]. I really am. I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life.
"I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more."
In May 2021, she appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show and discussed how she made the first move on him.
"If I want something or someone, I’m going after them,"she explained.
"I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, ‘Hey, it was nice to meet you.’ So I think there is no shame in making the first move."
Before dating Cole, Vanessa was in a long-term relationship with Austin Butler - who recently took on the starring role of Elvis Presley in biopic film, Elvis.
After their shock split, Vanessa explained: "I was like, ‘We’re getting serious, I need to make a list of things I need.’
"It was about being very straightforward with my questions about how he goes about life.
"In other ways it was really observing him and his approach to life and his infectious spirit, which is so beautiful and wonderful. I saw myself in that too."
They dated for nine years before splitting in 2020.
She also dated High School Musical co-star Zac Efron from 2006 to 2010.
