Vanessa Feltz has confessed that reentering the dating scene made her "really nervous" after coming out of a long-term relationship.
The broadcaster, 62, split from fiancé Ben Ofoedu, 52, after 16 years together in January 2023 following allegations he had been unfaithful.
While the Phats and Small singer is now happily coupled up with TV star Precious Muir, 33, Feltz has had less success after deciding to recently step back into the dating pool.
Opening up about the situation during an episode of the Suddenly Single vodcast, she explained: "I felt really nervous like I had to be on my best behaviour but I wasn't sure what that was!
"You want to be attractive but you don't want your bosoms hanging out on the table It's hard not to feel a bit diminished. You don't feel attractive, you don't feel what you said is funny. And you don't feel wanted.”
Feltz - who has has appeared on a number of TV shows over the years including This Morning, The Wright Stuff and Strictly Come Dancing - also wondered if being in the spotlight might deter potential suitors.
"They might think it would involve a constant stream of paparazzi. Of course it's nothing like that at all. I'm not Angelina Jolie,” she mused.
Feltz’s pursuit of love saw her appear on Celebs Go Dating last year and while she had no success there, says won’t give up.
"Oh my God, no. I wish to move on. I'm not saying whether I have or haven't, but I definitely want to,” she asserted to Metro newspaper's Sixty Seconds column
Adding: "I'm not tempted to give up anything while I'm alive - not work, love, fun, excitement, adventure or affection."
