Valentine's Day: Maya Jama appears to share insight into 'obsessive' relationship with Ben Simmons

Maya Jama has offered a rare glimpse of her relationship with NBA star Ben Simmons on Instagram as Valentine's Day arrives.

Bristolian TV presenter Maya flashed her enviable engagement ring on the red carpet of the BRIT Awards last week, and swerved host Mo Gilligan's attempt at conversation regarding the sparkly diamond on the night.

Maya is said to have got engaged to NBA star Ben Simmons after spending Christmas with her beau at his $5million mansion. And now, after being believed to have been engaged for nearly two months, Maya has shared a relationship quote which is thought to correlate with her relationship.

The quote, which Maya shared to her Instagram story on Sunday, February 13, said: "Everybody deserves to feel an obsessive love. Somebody who just can't get enough of you.

"Somebody who makes you feel like the whole world is yours and they'll do anything to make you happy. Like you on top of the world."

Maya has been incredibly hush about her relationship with Ben, and has barely posted her partner on Instagram. In January, she shared a rare couple selfie with the world via her Instagram story, which showed Ben hugging her from behind.

The pair were first romantically linked in mid-2021, when they were spotted together at swanky London restaurant Sexy Fish in June, before getting into the same car. Around a week later, the pair seemed to make things publicly official at Wimbledon, when they were snapped kissing in the stands.

However, according to the Metro, Maya was reportedly spotted at the Philadelphia 76ers' game in November 2019, shortly after her split from Stormzy. A month before Maya apparently attended the game, Ben left two fire emojis under a photo of her Halloween outfit on Instagram.

Last month, Maya was seen sporting her diamond ring for the first time as she and Ben went for a coffee date. The enviably large rock is reported to have cost more than £500,000.
