The families of aspiring medic Grace O’Malley-Kumar, history student Barnaby Webber and caretaker Ian Coates are seeking accountability from authorities after a damning report revealed institutional failings in the care of triple knife killer Valdo Calocane before he attacked them on 12 June.

Ms O’Malley-Kumar and Mr Webber encountered Calocane just hours after leaving a nightclub in the city centre as they celebrated the end of exams at the University of Nottingham.
