KANPUR: Twenty-two days after a nurse's body was found hanging from a pillar on the roof of a Bangarmau hospital in Unnao, police exhumed her body for a second autopsy on Monday. The district magistrate had ordered a repeat postmortem after the nurse's family approached him, alleging she was raped and killed.
They had accused that the hospital operator and three others were behind the 'murder'. However, the police, with the arrest of her alleged lover and going by the initial autopsy report, claimed that the nurse had hanged herself.
