LUCKNOW: Indian Oil, in association with the state government, is set to conduct a heritage quiz with prize money of Rs 10 lakh for the winner.
Titled, ‘Jigyasa - The Heritage Quiz’, it is open for teenagers in the age group of 13-18 years.
“In our bid to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and a mosaic of achievements of the world’s oldest living civilization, Indian Oil, ministry of petroleum and natural gas and the ministry of culture will be organising the quiz,” said the spokesperson of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
Jigyasa can be accessed and played by anyone across the globe by logging on www.akamquiz.com
For those in the age group of 13-18 years, Jigyasa offers them the opportunity to qualify as winners on district level, who subsequently go to state, regional and national levels.
The winning team members are eligible for a scholarship of Rs 10 lakh each.
Total scholarships to be won are of Rs 55 lakh.
Jigyasa will be available in 17 languages. Last date for enrolment is July 15, 2022.
Jigyasa aspires to be truly inclusive in nature and support Divyang Jan and those who are not a part of the formal education system.
