Jaunpur: Former MP from Jaunpur Dhananjay Singh and his aide were sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment along with a penalty of Rs 50,000 each by a special court here on Wednesday in almost four-year-old kidnapping and extortion case, a prosecution counsel said here.
