US Central Command chief Adm Brad Cooper has praised the sailors and Marines aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln for their resilience, teamwork and commitment to one another as the aircraft carrier prepares to return from its deployment in West Asia.
Cooper described his visit to the carrier as “awe-inspiring” and said witnessing the crew at work was a reminder of the professionalism and dedication of US Navy personnel serving far from home.
