Australia opener Usman Khawaja is to appeal against the ICC’s ruling that bans him from wearing boots showing support for the people of Gaza.

Khawaja had the messages “Freedom is a human right” and “All lives are equal” written on his boots in the colours of the Palestinian flag as Australia trained on Tuesday ahead of their first Test against Pakistan.
