Even though Atlanta's HBCUs, such as Spelman, Morehouse, Clark Atlanta, and Morris Brown, didn't perform at the halftime show, Usher made sure to shine a spotlight on another remarkable marching band. Jackson State University's Sonic Boom of the South, a Mississippi-based elite marching band, took the stage and elevated the southern culture fest. This inclusion highlighted the influence and talent that HBCUs bring to the world of music.
To add to the excitement, Usher released his ninth studio album, 'Coming Home,' just hours before his Super Bowl performance. By taking the audience on a musical journey from Vegas to Atlanta, Usher created an unforgettable experience.
