  • The US military carried out a second consecutive night of strikes on dozens of sites across Iran, prompting Iran to accuse the US of hitting the perimeter of its Bushehr nuclear power plant.
  • Iran responded to the US attacks by targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, while Jordanian air defences successfully intercepted eight missiles launched from Iran, reporting no casualties or damage.

  • Three members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed in the US strikes, and the naval arm of the Guards warned of a "crushing response" to any further US intervention in determining traffic routes in the Strait of Hormuz.
