Nasdaq's over 1% surge led Wall Street higher on Monday as investors returned to chipmakers and other AI linked stocks after last week’s sharp selloff, although the rebound offered little reassurance that concerns around the cost of funding the AI boom had faded, according to a Reuters report.
Nasdaq gained 1.11% to 26,430.89, while the S&P 500 rose 0.42% to 7,691.07. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 0.06% to 51,970.20.
