US soccer sexual abuse scandal: Probe reveals widespread misconduct by coaches

Last year, half of the coaches of America's National Women's Soccer League were fired following players' complaints of emotional and sexual abuse. This week, a follow-up investigation into the scandal showed that this kind of abuse is systemic in women's football in the US. Our Sports Editor Selina Sykes tells us more.

Also in this edition, Brazil's presidential election will be a run-off between current leader Jair Bolsonaro and former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Bolsonaro fared much better than expected in the first round, keeping former left-leaning leader Lula from his predicted outright win. And if Lula does clinch victory in the second round, he'll still face the challenge of a very right-leaning parliament. Also this week, Haiti recorded its first deaths from cholera in three years. The new outbreak comes as mass protests against fuel price hikes have further reduced medical access to many areas of the nation. Fears are now growing of a repeat of Haiti's devastating cholera outbreak 12 years ago, when some 10,000 people were killed.
