A presidential aide to Vladimir Putin, who is part of Moscow’s negotiating team in Saudi Arabia, has indicated that it is unlikely for US President Donald Trump to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the next week. This statement comes after earlier reports suggested a possible meeting between the two leaders.
Yuri Ushakov, Putin’s aide, dismissed the notion of a meeting happening in the upcoming week, casting doubt on the speculated timeframe. However, Ushakov did mention that both Moscow and Washington are committed to working towards creating favorable conditions for a meeting between the leaders at some point in the future.
