US beauty store Sephora confirmed to be heading to the UK

An iconic beauty brand is set to launch in the UK in October, as make-up fanatics gear up for the grand opening of Sephora.

Many a time has a US or European tour meant that beauty fans rushed to Sephora to stock up, as these stores and products were not available in the UK. But now, with the first ever Sephora UK website set to launch on October 17, these trips across the globe for beauty supplies are no more.

This announcement comes after the multi-retailer acquired the Feelunique’s website last year, turning it into Sephora.co.uk. Following this will be physical stores in Britain, set to launch in spring 2023.

Chris de Lapuente, chairman and CEO of Sephora UK, said: "At Sephora, we innovate every day to build the most loved beauty community. We are delighted to bring Sephora to the UK, responding to Britain’s strong demand for our unique prestige beauty experience.

“Customers will be encouraged to explore and discover the best versions of themselves as we support them in their beauty journey with a fantastic curation of time-tested classics and new indie brands."

The brand reveals that we can expect a fully immersive website and accompanying app with the instantly recognisable black and white stripes throughout. There will be products across all categories, including Makeup, Fragrance, Skincare, Haircare, and Wellness.

The Sephora UK website will launch in just ten days time, so set your alarms to get your hands on some new products.
