Darwin Nunez was not named in the Uruguay squad for their clash with Panama on Saturday, as his move to Liverpool edges closer.
The forward is expected to complete a huge switch to Merseyside, with the Reds ready to part with a club-record amount for the Benfica talisman.
Liverpool's current record signing is Virgil van Dijk, who cost £75 million from Southampton in January 2018. Nunez may push the club past this mark in a package that could be worth £85m.
