Uruguay began their campaign in the Copa America on Sunday with a 3-1 victory over Panama as the trio of Maximilian Araujo, Darwin Nunez, and Matias Vina got their names on the goal sheet for the winners.

Group C now has Uruguay jointly on top with USA, who began their campaign in the tournament with a convincing 2-0 win over Bolivia. Both the winning teams have three points each.
