Cowboy parking firms around Manchester Airport are now being targeted by authorities.
The crackdown has been launched after a large number complaints about cars parked on residential streets near the airport or on muddy fields around the hub. Not only do these firms cause congestion for people living in the area, but they also cause havoc for holidaymakers.
People have reported returning from their trips only to find their cars have been driven thousands of miles, damaged or even targeted for theft, reports Manchester Evening News. Manchester Airport said they have teamed up with Cheshire Police Manchester Airport to zap "inconsiderate and illegal parking" around the hub.
