Urgent search launched for Scots pensioner missing from Glasgow hospital

Police are urgently searching for a Scots pensioner who has disappeared from hopsital.

Robert Lynch has been reported missing from Glasgow city centre and was last seen leaving the Royal Infirmary around 4pm today.

Officers are urgently trying to locate the vulnerable 66-year-old, who may appear to be confused.

Robert's his family and friends are becoming increasingly concerned.

He is described as being around 5ft 8in tall, and when he was last seen he was wearing blue trousers with a grey jumper and beige shoes.

Anyone with information is being urged to get in touch with police on 101.

Inspector Jordan Dickson of Greater Glasgow Division said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Robert, along with his family and friends.


"He is very vulnerable and may appear to be confused.

“He is described as being about five foot eight inches tall and when last seen he was wearing blue trousers with a grey jumper and beige shoes.

“If you have seen Robert or have any information please contact 101 contacting reference 2428 of Monday, 9 May 2022.”

** Police Scotland announced Robert has been found safe and well on Tuesday morning, May 10. **
