Police have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of a teenage boy who has been missing since Boxing Day.
Ejaz Maroofkhil, 17, from Fairfield, was last seen on December 26 in the L7 area of Liverpool. He is known to have links to Manchester.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a grey tracksuit with a yellow North Face jacket.
Ejaz has been described as being of a slim build, with short black hair. Alongside connections to Manchester, police said he is also known to have links to Wirral, Liverpool, Bedfordshire and Belfast.
Police are continuing extensive enquiries to try and track down Ejaz’s whereabouts, and have asked anyone with information to come forward.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: “Please share and help us find missing 17-year-old Ejaz Maroofkhil from Fairfield.
“Ejaz has been missing since 26th December when he was last seen in the L7 area. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to find him. He is of slim build with short black hair.
“Ejaz was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit with a yellow North Face jacket. He has links to Wirral, Liverpool, Manchester, Bedfordshire and Belfast.”
