Police are becoming increasingly concerned for a missing man last seen near Manchester city centre more than 24 hours ago. Greater Manchester Police has this evening (March 12) issued an urgent appeal to find Shazaib.
The 29-year-old was last seen on Upper Brook Street, which runs past Manchester's universities and Manchester Royal Infirmary, south-east of the city centre. He was last seen at 2.38pm on Saturday, March 11.
Shazaib, whose surname has not been given by GMP, is described by the force as an Asian male of medium build. At the time he was last seen, Shazaib was wearing a black, tight-fitting zip-up sports hoodie.

He also wore black, loose-fitting jogging bottoms, and all white trainers. Police are urging anyone who sees Shazaib or has information on his whereabouts to contact GMP as soon as possible.
A spokesperson for GMP added: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about him and want to make sure he is safe and well. Anyone with information about Shazaib's whereabouts should contact police on 101 or 999 in an emergency and quote log 1136-11032023."
