BERHAMPUR: With just a day left for campaigning to end for the urban polls, electioneering has reached fever pitch in Ganjam, the home district of chief minister and BJD chief Naveen Patnaik, with senior leaders and cine artists joining the campaign trail for different parties.
Senior BJD leader and forest minister Bikram Keshari Arukh, urban development minister Pratap Jena and Debi Mishra addressed a public meeting here on Monday and appealed to voters to support party candidates in the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) polls. Earlier, local MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu along with MLA (Berhampur)Bikram Panda campaigned for the party candidates by taking out rallies in every ward.
