Airdrie star Charlie Telfer says Dunfermline are the team to beat at the top of the League One table, as the leaders visit New Broomfield this weekend.
Adam Frizzell was on the score-sheet for Airdrie when they drew 1-1 in Fife back in August, with Telfer in attendance, and he hopes the Diamonds have enough in them this time to cut the gap between the sides to seven points.
He told Airdrie's website: "We know their threats, but we know that if we play the way we can play, play between the lines and be really positive, if we get chances to do that we can hurt anyone.
"They're a good side, and they're where they are for a reasons, so we need to go and upset them and show what a force we are."
Telfer played a fortnight ago as Airdrie bagged a 1-1 draw at Falkirk, courtesy of a Callum Smith goal.
With the SPFL Trust Trophy clashes taking precedence last weekend, Airdrie were given a weekend off, and Telfer admits it came at a good time.
He said: "We trained during the week, got our work in, then we had some time off to recharge and go again.
"We've got a big game on Saturday and the big games keep coming.
"We were disappointed we didn't get three points [against Falkirk] but as a whole, I think the draw was probably fair.
"We had spells in the game where we thought we were really good, and perhaps we didn't do it over the 90 minutes, but I think it was a positive result at a difficult place to go.
"We'll take the positives. We're unbeaten in four or five in the league."
Airdrie have midfielder Frizzell and striker Gabby McGill available for tomorrow's clash, while goalkeeper Josh Rae took part in full training this week.
