Upper Hunter residents get more time to weigh up power infrastructure

Upper Hunter residents have been given an extra two weeks to provide feedback on plans to build new clean energy transmission infrastructure through their communities.

Earlier this month, residents of Merriwa and Cassilis complained they had not been given sufficient opportunity to properly consider the implications of an environmental impact statement for the Central West - Orana Renewable Energy Zone.
