Update: As expected, Team Cherry announced the release of Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 edition during today's Nintendo Direct. It's out later today, February 5. If you own Hollow Knight on Switch already, you can get the Switch 2 edition "for free with the upgrade pack," per the Direct.
This "upgraded" edition brings "enhanced visuals and improved frame rates" to Nintendo Switch 2, with no changes to the content of what's still arguably the greatest Metroidvania ever made (I like it a tiny bit more than Hollow Knight: Silksong, at least). But who can complain about a smoother, higher-resolution Hollow Knight you can take on the go?
