We have updated the list of New Orleans Saints future draft picks in 2023, 2024, and 2025 after the Saints traded their former head coach Sean Payton to the Denver Broncos, having completing a series of previous transactions with the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans. It’s resulted in an odd sequence of picks for New Orleans over the next couple of draft cycles, but it’s on their scouting department and decision-makers on the coaching staff and in the front office to make the most of the resources available to them. Here’s what you need to know about which picks the Saints can make (or trade) in the next three years:
2023
- Round 1 (via Denver Broncos)
- Round 2
- Round 3
- Round 4
- Round 5
- Round 5 (via Philadelphia Eagles)
- Round 7
We’re waiting until the official draft order and compensatory picks are announced in March to finalize individual slots, and to learn whether the conditional sixth rounder New Orleans traded to the Houston Texans for cornerback Bradley Roby will convey to them. The Saints are also projected to receive a compensatory seventh round pick for last year’s losses in free agency.
2024
- Round 1
- Round 2 (via Denver Broncos)
- Round 4
- Round 5
- Round 6
- Round 6 (via Philadelphia Eagles)
The Saints do not have a seventh rounder in 2024 after trading it to the Houston Texans for running back Mark Ingram II.
2025
- Round 1
- Round 2
- Round 3
- Round 4
- Round 5
- Round 6
The Saints do not have a seventh-round selection in 2025 after trading it to the Eagles along with safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
