The death of a man after he was found in a pond last week is being treated as non-suspicious.
Lancashire Police were called to Half Mile Island in Skelmersdale at around 2.11pm on Friday, February 10. Once officers arrived at the scene, accompanied by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and the ambulance service, they found the body of a man in a pond in Tawd Valley Park.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the 53-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
