UP: More trouble for jailed MLA Vijay Mishra as SC rejects bail plea

VARANASI: The problems for the jailed muscleman MLA Vijay Mishra have multiplied ahead of the assembly polls after the Supreme Court rejected his bail plea on Monday, even as many of his relatives are in jail while other family members, including his wife, son and daughters are absconding.

Bhadohi SP Dr Anil Kumar on Monday said, "In view of the plea given before the SC by Mishra, the district police have submitted its objection and today (Monday) the court rejected his bail plea.
