Months after the storm unleashed devastating floods and landslides, destroying homes, cutting off roads and isolating entire towns, recovery remains a slow and demanding process. Working without pay and largely away from public attention, their efforts have become a powerful example of community driven recovery in some of the region’s hardest hit areas.
