The Jets and the Giants both play at MetLife Stadium, so it is bound for the two New York teams to get a little confused when playing each other — after all, they do share the stadium.
But one Jets player, who has not been named yet, apparently was really not prepared for the whole "you're in the visiting locker room this week," it seems. As he walked into the Giants locker room “unknowingly” ahead of Sunday’s game, ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reported. The player went all the way inside the locker room before realizing he was in the opposing team’s space.
On top of this, Raanan added that the player’s position coach watched him go the wrong way and wondered “where he was going.”
The player was not quarterback Zach Wilson, though, ESPN’s Rich Cimini clarified on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Zach Wilson arrives. As the visiting team, the #Jets have to take a different route to their locker room, passing the Giants locker room. One player mistakenly walked into the Giants locker room. (Not Wilson.) pic.twitter.com/ggYCi2ZVrX

You have to wonder at what point the player realized that he was in the wrong place, but the likelihood he stepped into the locker room and saw a sea of blue probably helped set off the alarm in his head.
