Union safety reps 'stormed out of meeting after TfL refused to ban e-bikes from Tube'

Union representatives stormed out of a meeting with Transport for London because they were so infuriated with its refusal to ban e-bikes from the Tube, it has emerged.

Aslef, the RMT and the TSSA union are all demanding that the rules are changed to ban battery-powered bikes from the London Underground after a catastrophic incident was narrowly averted at a Tube station last month.
