Una Healy has aimed a killer right hook in the direction of her retired boxer ex David Haye with her latest single.
The 41-year-old Irish country singer, who was formerly part of five-piece girlband The Saturdays, hit headlines earlier this year following reports that she was in a three-way relationship or “throuple” with Haye and his girlfriend Sian Osbourne .
She has since gone on record to say that this was never the case and that she had only ever been in a relationship with Haye, whom she has now split up with.
The mum-of-two has now reaffirmed this with new song Walk Away.
Not mincing her words, the track features the lyrics: “You had me head over heels, thought I’d feel this way about you forever.
“You had my heart in a noose, while you were filling your boots.”
The flamed-haired singer goes on to accuse Haye of trying to “tie” her to him, adding: “You want us tied, right at the laces.”
Healy has left no room for error confirming that the tune is indeed about Haye after their split.
“I’ve got a new single coming out on June 1 and it’s called Walk Away,” she told Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast.
“What does that rhyme with? David Haye,” she laughed.
