
The United Nations Security Council has approved a Kenya-led mission aimed at bringing stability to Haiti, where violent armed gangs have taken over parts of the Caribbean country, leaving the economy in tatters.
Monday's resolution passed with 13 votes in favor, and China and Russia abstaining.
