Victoria Beckham urged to heal 'feud' with Brooklyn and Nicola before grandchildren

Ulrika Jonsson has waded into rumours of a feud between Victoria Beckham and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, urging Posh to "sort it out" before she becomes a grandmother.

Tensions between the fashion designer, 48, and Nicola, 27, first emerged following the actress' wedding to David and Victoria's eldest son Brooklyn, 23, in Florida in April, with all eyes on if they would attend her Paris show last Friday.

Now mother-of-four Ulrika, 55, has given Victoria some advice on how to heal the reported "strained atmosphere" after the family put on a united display for her fashion showcase.

"I do feel for Victoria Beckham. She’s enduring what every mother fears. As a fellow mum of four children, I know that family is everything," she wrote in her column with The Sun.

"Victoria won’t be the only mother, by any stretch of the imagination, who finds her role as the main woman in her son’s life diminished. In short, she has been relegated. And, of course, that is the natural order of things. It’s what eventually happens as families evolve," Ulrika continued.

"Poor old VB surely needs to sort out this strained atmosphere before the patter of tiny Beckham feet comes along, it’s one thing making way for a new Mrs Beckham in her daughter-in-law, quite another being an alienated, ostracised granny who doesn’t get a look-in because Nicola’s mum will be all over the grandchild.

"That’s a whole other level of pain."

Ulrika went on to say she has had "to tread carefully"with her own children, especially her eldest son Cameron, 28, who has been in a relationship for the past six years.

The former weather presenter said she accepts she is no longer his number one priority in life but is "thrilled" he is happy and making a new life for himself.

She also added her son Cameron had previous girlfriends she liked much less.

Mirror Online has contacted Victoria's representatives for comment.

Victoria reportedly invited Brooklyn and his wife to Paris Fashion Week in a bid to end the feud speculation between the family.

The former Spice Girl is said to have been left "distraught and fearful" over the thought of losing her son and not seeing any future grandchildren due to the ongoing feud.

Meanwhile, doting husband and Brooklyn's dad David is rumoured to have given his off-spring a telling-off after a Grazia interview was released.

Speaking to Grazia USA, Nicola had claimed Victoria and her team went silent ahead of her nuptials, causing her substantial distress.

"I was planning on wearing Victoria's wedding dress and I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created," she told the publication.

Nicola continued: "We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn't hear anything.

"Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn't make it."

According to the MailOnline, a source close to the family said: "He had it out with him and told him 'We don't do this in our family – and you know that we don't do this in our family'."

They went on to suggest that David was furious with the interview and it also hurt his two younger brothers, Romeo and Cruz.

Mirror Online contacted David and Victoria's representatives for comment at the time.
