A White House official has indicated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Washington, DC may be contingent on the finalization of an agreement on resources between the two countries. The official stated that if Zelensky has not confirmed the deal as final, it would not be logical for him to make the trip to the US capital.
Reports had previously suggested that Zelensky was planning to meet with President Donald Trump in Washington, DC in the near future, as per a Ukrainian official. Zelensky himself mentioned during a news conference that the conclusions regarding the deal would be drawn after discussions with Trump.
