Ukrainian Forces Push Into Russia's Kursk Region

A Russian missile strike caused a fire in the Ukrainian city of Sumy on Saturday, resulting in two injuries and damage to cars and nearby buildings, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service. The strike involved an Iskander-K cruise missile and an aerial bomb. Additionally, Ukraine’s air force reported shooting down 14 Russian drones overnight, including in the Kyiv region.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova claimed that Ukraine destroyed a bridge across the Seim River in the Glushkovsky district using U.S.-made HIMARS rockets. This action, if confirmed, could impede Russian supply deliveries, although alternative routes are still available.
