Ukraine to receive first Gripen jets in 2027, new model from 2030

UPPSALA — Ukraine will receive its first Saab Gripen fighter ⁠jets of the models C and D ⁠in 2027 and new Gripen Model E and F jets ‌from 2030 onwards, Swedish ⁠Prime Minister ⁠Ulf Kristersson said on Thursday.

According to the Swedish government, Ukraine plans to buy up to 20 latest model Gripen jet fighter jets, and Sweden will donate 16 older Gripen jets.
